Check-in baggage

Here we provide information about check-in baggage.

Regular

  • When checking baggage, check-in baggage fees apply from the first piece of baggage. Please refer to the Check-in Baggage Fee Chart (PDF) for fees.
  • After purchase, the check-in baggage service cannot be canceled nor can the fee be refunded at the customer’s request. 
  • Up to five pieces of baggage meeting the stipulated size requirements (total length of three sides is 203 cm or less) may be checked in. 
  • The maximum weight of each piece of checked baggage is 23 kg and an overweight charge will be applied for each piece. (the maximum weight per piece is 32 kg and a separate overweight charge will be applied for pieces weighing between 23 kg and 32 kg.)
  • Fees differ for additions at the time of ticket purchase and after ticket purchase.  Please refer to the Check-in Baggage Fee Chart (PDF) for more information.


Sporting equipment

  • When checking in sporting equipment, the special baggage fee applies from the first piece of baggage.  Check-in Baggage Fee Chart (PDF)
  • Special baggage fees must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to departure. 
  • After purchase, the check-in baggage service cannot be canceled nor can the fee be refunded at the customer’s request. 
  • This service applies to the following sporting equipment. (Regular check-in baggage fees apply to sporting equipment that is not listed here.) 
    • Bicycles 
    • Golf (regarded as sporting equipment regardless of the number of clubs) 
    • Skis (Skis and Boots)
    • Snowboards (Snowboards and Boots)
    • Surfboards 
  • The size regulations for acceptable items are as follows

    Size: The sum of the three dimensions must not exceed 250 cm, but the longest dimension must not exceed 220 cm.

    Weight: up to 32 kg

  • In order to secure loading space, customers who plan to check-in bicycles, surfboards, skis, or snowboards are kindly requested to inform the contact center of their sizes in advance.

  • If you do not declare the size of your sports equipment in advance, we may not be able to secure space for it to be loaded, and you may not be able to load it even if you have paid for it. 

About damage to baggage

  • Please contact the airport staff when you arrive for damage discovered when you arrive. Under the attendance of the staff, we will judge whether or not compensation is possible.
  • We are not responsible for unavoidable damage during transportation.
  • Damage of bags that do not affect the contents will not be covered by compensation. In addition, the contents of the bag will not be covered by compensation.
  • No packing materials are available at the airport. If you leave the fragile items such as musical instruments, sports equipment, ceramics, glass products, and liquor bottles, please pack it yourself for aviation transportation yourself.
  • We are not responsible for not only fragile ones, but also for damage due to insufficient packaging and partially lost.


Other precautions

  • Customers who leave their baggage should complete the boarding procedure with plenty of time.
  • Depending on the amount of installation, you may not be able to leave it.
  • We do not offer packing items such as vinyl cover, so if you need it, please prepare it yourself.
  • When picking up baggage, please check your baggage replacement certificate and baggage tag number.
  • Please check the packaging status by yourself when you leave fragile baggage.
  • We do not provide "through baggage service (service to carry your baggage from the departure point to the final destination)". If you are boarding for two or more sections, please leave at the departure area for each section and receive it at the arrival area.
