About damage to baggage

  • Please contact the airport staff when you arrive for damage discovered when you arrive. Under the attendance of the staff, we will judge whether or not compensation is possible.
  • We are not responsible for unavoidable damage during transportation.
  • Damage of bags that do not affect the contents will not be covered by compensation. In addition, the contents of the bag will not be covered by compensation.
    *Please note that the following cases are not covered by compensation:
    ・Minor damage (scratches, cuts, dents, stains, wear and tear on casters/wheels, etc.)
    ・Damage to or loss of accessories such as belts, name tags, etc.
  • No packing materials are available at the airport. If you leave the fragile items such as musical instruments, sports equipment, ceramics, glass products, and liquor bottles, please pack it yourself for aviation transportation yourself.
  • We are not responsible for not only fragile ones, but also for damage due to insufficient packaging and partially lost.
  • Damage resulting from inherent defects or normal wear and tear of the baggage is also excluded from compensation.
  • If you discover any damage to your baggage after arrival, please submit a claim through this form.
    *Please note that claims made more than 7 days after the date of receipt will not be eligible for compensation by the airline.
  • Even in cases where damage to baggage is eligible for compensation, there is a limit to the amount (indemnity) that can be paid. For further details, please refer to the Conditions of Carriage.
